I’m in the process of moving my old blog from it’s previous location to a new location. The address should stay the same but now I’ll have full control over all of the content, styling, and plug-ins.
I had been using the 1&1 built-in blog feature but it didn’t have enough flexibility. I wanted to add an image gallery and also stop using a kludge to get the exact style I wanted. Now I can install and modify themes of any sort or even make my own if I was so inclined.
All of the posts and pictures have been moved so now it is just a matter of time before I am able to change the sub-domain to point to this new location.

I no longer need to stick a link to my modified style sheet in every blog post. That’s handy. Unfortunately, all of the Google links to my site are wrong for all of the images. I wonder how long it will take for new image links to show up there.
